Job Title: Finance Officer

Responsibilities That Is Required
Implement financial systems and procedures according to Financial Handbook and other NRC policies at office level
Prepare bank accounts and cashbox reconciliations
Verify that vouchers and supporting documents meet NRC standards before payment
Ensure timely payment of staff salaries, contractors, suppliers and other expenditures
Ensure sufficient cash in the bank and in the cash boxes
Prepare monthly financial reports and send all relevant documents to country office
Ensure filing of all financial documents according to NRC standards
Supervise, train and develop financial staff
Support project staff in financial matters
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience from working with finance management in a humanitarian, recovery context
- Relevant university degree, preferably business administration/financial management, or other relevant educational background combined with relevant professional experience.
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
- Knowledge about own leadership skills, profile
- Managing resources to optimize results
- High-level competency in computer skills Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Fluency in one or more of the national/regional languages

- Ability to work under pressure, independently and with limited supervision.
- Highest standards of ethics and integrity
- Ability to work in insecure environments
- Communicating with impact and respect
